I had this same issue with a 2000nxs2 which appears similar to the one they brought onstage. I notice it happens only with certain files in a codex. Might be bug in the DAC hardware

Lots of people have been saying it is a widespread firmware issue with the nxs2's. I will give the man credit... I think 99/100 other DJs would have absolutely lost it / not been able to even cobble together a set with that kind of pressure meets technical difficulties.

Yo, if you were intentionally just f-ing with the crowd and all the people coming up, this is low key genius.

Always export your playlist tracks with the loops edited in. Pointless to set loops or jump around with the cues in a live mix unless your a DMC DJ, just pre-edit the track how long you want it to play and when to build or break.
