Nice vid. Is it just me, or is this spring a bit bumpier than last year around this time? Bumpy Bridal day today.
@ault3164 ай бұрын
I think it’s always bumpy at this time of year. And it is that bumpiness that allows us to do the bigger flights. My guess is that you are now venturing more into the bumpiness as your experience grows.

What an awesome adventure! What season did you do this paddle? Wondering how much water you initially pack and if you had to replenish along the way? Did those campsites have bathrooms?
@ault3167 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. I did the paddle in September 2023. Some of the campsites were in provincial parks and did have bathrooms and then some of my campsites were just wild camping.

Glad you got to fly Sarangkot. That's where I did my first two tandems in 2006. Sadly, as of this year the flying there has been shut down because of thew Pokhara International Airport. I know Nepal really well; been there a dozen times, have friends all over. I am friends with Babu, the guy who flew off of Mnt. Everest and Nat Geo made a movie out of it. If you ever go back and need connections to the flying community ... Ironically I knew all these people for years before I got my P2.

Hi folks. I have not written very many songs. That song was given to me in the days following the tragedy. I’m glad it resonated well for you. I don’t know if you’re aware am a good friend of John Morgan‘s. Michelle are you his sister?

No I'm Zanes mum...wanna say thankyou so much as this has helped my birth family understand the horrific ordeal we all went through at that time ..made me cry I stumbled upon it while trying to find a clip from 60 minutes about the boys but alas it's no where to be found ...but this was such a special surprise...❤

@@michelleleigh5178 That is wonderful, Michelle. I'm so glad you found this. BTW, I live near Vancouver, Canada. I was living in Wanganui at that time with my family on a teacher exchange.

Thanks Kevin...it sure has changed since I was there in 2014...much more infrastructure at the take offs and of course...the gondola. The upper launch was just rough gravel and it was a shuttle van to get up there. Thanks for the vid.
