So many games on the playdate are just tech demos with high score leaderboards. I guess that contributes to the pick up and play aspect, but they should at least add roguelite elements.

thinking about having my friend print this with a modification.. a channel cut between a and b! I think that could make it more comfortable to rest your thumb between the two buttons. nice work on the design! I have a lot of issues with the ergonomics of using the playdate with the crank and I think this could help a lot.

Yeah. I used stock SDLX. This video hurt my eyes. I should try a model that was actually trained on anime

I went through the video frame by frame and this isn't ai generated as I literally see mickey turn into an anime girl in some frames, btw, some random objects also become anime girls if you go through the frames 1 by 1.

My guy, the AI uses existing art to make new frames. That's how AI art works.

Very neat! I'm upset that handheld makers focus on making their handhelds so tiny. I get that it needs to fit in people's hands, but our hands aren't infant-sized!!!

Pretty much. There is a Ghostnet PC application that allows you to trade ghosts, but there are no battles or anything else Pokémon related. I didn't enjoy this game.

@@grhmhome I've been on the fence for this game. Just got my Playdate in. Can you explain the ghost net thing a bit more? What all does it offer? Regarding these two games, there so lack of content that I just don't find there to be a reason to buy it. At least not at $13 dollars. I did buy their game Necro Crisis and that's actually pretty good. Still waiting on Waste Braver to release. Unfortunately, I just don't see a point to Shadow/Shining Gadget. Maybe I just don't get it? 🤔

I don't think its worth 13 bucks. GhostNet, if I recall, is a place where you can offer a ghost and request for one. If someone accepts your offer, a trade is made. I love the artwork, but I don't like the gameplay.
