Food grade mineral oil is not cheap in Australia. I use Grapeseed oil because it doesn't go rancid and is recommended by a lot of board manufacturers. I only use camphor laurel cutting boards these days because the wood has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

I hate registries, but I see why people have them. No one wants five kitchen aid mixers and no one wants to have to deal with returning four of them. Coming from a culture where people give money and only money at weddings, I find registries to weirdly straddle this line of trying to be personal while also being basically like giving money. Why not just give the couple money instead of going through the extra steps of them making a registry and you buying something from it? In practice, I know that my culture is not their culture and I know that I’m in the minority. Sooo, I buy something off of their registry AND if I know them well / want to, I will add something from off the registry (or homemade) too.

I can hear rubbing with all 4 sizes using the loop quiet model. So confused. I've only ever had finger rubbing sounds blocked when using earplugs AND the OSHA headphones things. Does this depend on ear shape or something?
