Wow it looks amazing day out with all of the other Jimny’s. Are you going to the advent this weekend at the Springs 4WD Park? Because that one should be one awesome weekend. And a great to fundraiser money is well. But sadly to say I won’t be coming along because I’m not living in Brisbane anymore I’m over here in Auckland but very much thinking of coming back tho 😊

Awesome video Melena and a big welcome back I thought we was never going to hear from you again. And yes merry Christmas for last year lol . Definitely some great fun on Somerset Dam one of my favourites is Wakeboarding I have never tried wake surfing yet but it definitely looks great fun . I really like the sunset on the dam looks really epic. Hopefully we will see you again soon

Fantastic video bit of a bummer about the fish situation but hey at least the weather was decent for a great weekend away. I guess the long weekend was for the Morton bay regional council. Suzuki launched 5 door jimny in India. Slightly longer wheel base. Took a test drive & booked it. should get in about six months time. The first thing will do is take the car in the Himalayan mountains😂

Jimny is designed to go to unknown places where you can explore. Is not design as a family car. 3 doors with short wheel base is a plus when doing some serious off roading.

Congrats with your new Jimny! I got exact the same colour. 5MT is the way to go! Every time I drive my Jimny, I always put a smile on my face. Trust me you will love the mighty Jimny. Please do the engine “run in” before some off-road adventure. 🙂

Thank you. I would say this is the best colour to get (but I might be a bit bias)🤣. I won’t be doing any 4x4 till it’s a least got rust proofing and a ceramic coating at minimum. I would ideally also like a lift and new wheels first as well.

@@melena_kate I bought my new one 2 months ago. To be honest... take it offroading in stock form. Learn where it's strengths and weaknesses are. You don't have to take it mental offroading, just a bit to experience it. If you spend 2 grand on lift and then another 1-1.5k on tyres etc. then you'll never really know what it started out like. Keep in mind approach and departure angles on this car are amazing as well especially for stock. When I took mine offroading I saw a few hills and thought no way will I make it up that without scraping the underside, but it did it easily.

as for rust proofing and ceramic coating, they can often run you up around 1000 and 2000 dollars respectively. It's a 4wd, it's going to get some scratches here and there and if you ceramic coat it and then accidentally scratch it along a big tree branch, that ceramic coating isn't going to stop anything. Of course it's your car and up to you what you do and when. But sounds like you want to spend 5-6 thousand dollars at least (tyres, lift, ceramic coating, rust proofing) before even taking it off road. My honest opinion just take it out and enjoy it!

@@TheMashedFM I have already owned a Jimny I just upgraded from an 08 model, to which I had done off roading in. So I already understand how these cars handle off road. In terms of ceramic coating I understand it’s not going to protect the 100%, however it will at least add some level of protection from off-roading/every day use. Just because a car can go off-road stock, doesn’t mean it’s the best move for it

We stayed at Rhapsody Resort in Surfers Paradise. I would definitely recommend it the room was really nice for the price and it was only a 5-10min walk to the main strip of Surfers
