I still remember when you first posted the footage of the whole house shaking. It was very scary, but I was so glad that you had your camper all prepared for the escape.

The same reason he blocked out any view from outside of his house -- Because people might be able to figure out where he lives by recognizing the area.

I'm so glad you and your family are ok, where I live in the USA we don't have earthquakes. We have the usual intense storm with an occasional tornado but not that often. Again I'm glad you and your family are doing well.

Very happy that you and your family are safe. Thank you for sharing this with us. It was nice to meet your family. Your daughter is adorable. Something you might want to add to your camper or emergency kit is a small, hand-pump water purifier. You were running low on water, but were surrounded by piles of snow that could have been melted and cleaned. A small purifier is very small, easy to use, and can convert any "dirty" water into "clean" water quickly.

Thank you for this video. This is a different, and larger camper-van than the original "Coupy" van ! Does it also have 4 wheel drive, like Coupy has ? Do you still have little Coupy ? Yes please be careful of danger from Tsunami waves. However I think that most houses, homes and buildings in Japan, do resist earthquakes well and are mostly safe, because they are designed with Earthquakes in mind. Here in New Zealand, we are also on "The Pacific Ring of Fire" and houses, buildings, bridges etc are designed to resist Earthquakes and be as safe as possible. Sometimes the danger comes from falling furniture, wall mirrors, or items stored on high shelves, for example. Yes a backpack (or 2 backpacks) , for these purposes, sometimes called a "go bag" or a "grab bag" can be made up to have some essential supplies. Including some cash in mixed size notes and coins for small purchases on-the-road, a torch/flashlight with long-life batteries, food that keeps, such as cans and dry packets of instant noodles etc, and essential medicines and baby supplies. A small rechargeable Power-bank could be used to recharge a mobile cellphone. Be safe and cheerio.

most important in campers van is the mini toilet. most campers travel very far to get to the place of their destination, even on the highway alone you will feel the need to go to the toilet. second it must be a 4x4 drive. the most beautiful place to camp is deep into the forest, close to nature. and when it rains the forest becomes muddy.

The real question at the camp site is if you are getting mugged can you yell/scream and be heard by the houses down below and nearby?

If you close the pop-up top when you go to bed, it would help to keep the heat in, no? 🤔 I love watching your videos... it's relaxing and it feels so safe to be in that cozy little house, with the wind, snow, rain outside 😌 🌧️ ❄️ your voice is very soothing as well. I dream of flying to Japan and exploring the country with a similar lil' camper! 🫡 🚛 🗺️ 🇨🇦 🇯🇵
