Hello. You say at 1:41 no identifiable logos or branding from other companies but I can see a photos of starbucks how is that possible?

Great question! At 1:41, I was referring specifically to commercial licensing, where images must not contain identifiable logos or branding unless you have the appropriate permissions. However, the Starbucks image you mentioned could be acceptable under editorial licensing. Editorial images are used to tell a story about something newsworthy or of public interest, and they don’t require property or model releases. I hope that clears things up! I've tried this method... am not very proficient in PS, but I selected the Frame tool clicked circle shape on top menu and held shift then drew a box with a circle in it onto the image and released keys.... the image did not create the mask ... didn't do anything.... hours later I write you....

Thanks for sharing your experience! It sounds like you're close, but the issue might be with how the Frame Tool works. After selecting the circle shape in the top menu and drawing the frame, you’ll need to drag your image directly into the frame or place it inside manually (via File > Place Embedded). This will apply the mask and crop your image into a circle. If it’s still not working, double-check that the layer is unlocked or try resetting the tool settings in the top menu. Let me know if that helps or if you’re still stuck!

I can't sample any color from the newly created layer becayse there's nothing there. How do I sample color and paste it on a new layer? Is there any other tool that I need to change the setting of?

It sounds like the issue might be with your sampling settings. Try this: press 'I' on your keyboard to activate the 'Eyedropper' tool. Then, look at the toolbar at the top and check the 'Sample' dropdown. Make sure it's set to 'All Layers' instead of 'Current Layer.' If it's set to 'Current Layer,' you won't be able to sample colours from other layers, which is why you might be seeing nothing when working on a blank layer. Switching to 'All Layers' should allow you to sample colours from the entire image. Hope that helps! :)

Hello, this is really easy to do. If you create a shape layer and move this below your circle crop, you can then slightly increase the size of this and change the colour to whatever you want. This gives the effect of a border. Hope this helps.

I don't see the very first step about the Photoshop 2024 settings. I don't have that to select. First menu item I have is "File" I do have Photoshop 2024 though.

Hit Command + K on your keyboard and this will bring up your settings. From there you will be able to find Technology Previews at the bottom of the menu. Hope this helps :)
