My first rock concert I saw in Sault Ste. Marie Memorial Arena was Trooper. Max Webster opened for them. I recal someone was shooting fireworks inside the arena and Kim Mitchell told him to "F-off. They have special medication for guys like you". I still remember Kim doing his famous split jump with guitar in hand. Awesome bands, awesome concert.

I love it when Don Everly appeared in the center aisle singing and then sits down on stage with Chet and Steve. What a wonderful moment. Don never forgot the help Chet gave to him and Phil when they first came to Nashville.

The Everly Brothers with one of their greatest songs! I love that song,too! Nobody can sing and perform it like the two boys. They perfomed it so wonderful and cute. They were my Idols, when I was young and now they were my Idols in September 2024 and will it be, till I die! RIP! I will never forget you and your great songs!

These are incredible videos when it comes to music and things like that. Anyways, I would like to do a step by step breakdown to tell everyone here what are these videos called and so forth in case they are interested. The first video was an interview that Brent Mason did way back in the 1990s sometime and the two hosts that were interviewing him were called Crook & Chase. As you can see, the interview was aired on The Nashville Network which was often referred to as TNN. By the way, it was wonderful to see Brent Mason playing on a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar for that special occasion and things like that. The second video which talked about the roots of country rock was a 10-part American-British television documentary series that was produced by the BBC and WGBH which talked about the history of rock & roll music. It had two different titles to it because it was aired in the US and UK. So in the US, it was called Rock & Roll while in the UK, it was called Dancing In The Street: A Rock & Roll History. The documentary series was aired in 1995 on PBS in the US and on BBC Two in the UK during 1996. The episode that was shown in this video was the sixth episode that also had two different titles to them. On the PBS version, it was called Blues In Technicolor while on the BBC version, it was called Eight Miles High. On that sixth episode, it mostly talked about the psychedelic rock era and how San Francisco, California became the centre of that particular rock music genre. Basically, the psychedelic rock era had originated in the mid-1960s among the British and American musicians and it also talked about how the genre itself drew to a close when it declined in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The new sound that had emerged which moved away from the experimentation of the psychedelic era was called country rock. A lot of rock & roll artists and bands began experimenting with country music as they wanted to record country-flavored records which were rock records using country themes, vocal styles and additional instrumentation, most characteristically pedal steel guitars. A lot of the rock & roll musicians already knew that country music influence could work very well with pop/rock & roll music and so on. Otherwise, these are the step by step breakdown of videos with titles that I wanted to give everyone for those who are interested. The full episodes of the rock & roll history can be found here on KZbin as well as everywhere else on the internet. And that's that. There you have it. Great videos by the way.
