I still like the first lion king cause the way the layed out the story everything was understandable and was amazing but with this I don't know how to feel about this cause the first movie didn't give the vibes that mufasa was an orphan. The new movie might be okay but it just doesn't give for me

That movie was AMAZING loved it. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was at the end when Kiara wanted to see her Papa Mufasa and he didn't show in the sky. That's it!

It’s sad how families today love this movie, the reason why people are hating on Disney is because it’s movies aren’t as good as they were before (compare the original lion king to the live action one and see why) sure there are some good movies now and then like inside out 2 but disney is no longer the same and I don’t mind change but not this kind of change, when all a studio makes is sequels and prequels not new original movies. The only original movie coming from Disney that is announced and coming soon is elio and that movie is made from Pixar.

I don't understand why everybody hates this movie, it is the best movie I have seen.

I actually liked it, but the choice of making the «bad» lions white felt unnecessary woke to me. The music was bad, but I found the story engaging with a nice nostalgic wibe.

Hello! I am one of the few people who enjoy this movie for the stunning animations and sound effects. I loved learning more about some of the lore of Mufasa! I was drawn in while watching this in theaters. Breaks my heart to see so many people hate on it so fast.

It's a cash grab plain and simple.

I think this film could have been really good as a direct to VHS film during the period when Lion King was at its peak, however the film should have been hand-drawn and paid more respect to the original first film.

It’s a Masterpiece that i will slot in at #2 just behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula !! So happy to have a modern movie done with that classic tale. Didn’t think we had it in us anymore

I’m a hardcore lion king fan, and I loved this. Yes, it ruined my original idea about their origins, and yes, some of the songs were bland and unnecessary, but all and all I found it very entertaining and fun.
