Hi Aaron, my probate attorney just told me we have to sell everything before Dec. 2024. I was going to try to do the estate sell by my self . Because we didn't want to pay 50% but after listening to you, and a couple f others, I realized we might only get 50% or less anyway. My parents collected tons of stuff. Do you guys go to Mendocino County California?

Great info, thank you ! I’m interested in combining an estate sale business with a junk removal service and a property preservation business ( when banks foreclose on a home ) I’m in Canada , our population base is just over 1.6 million in my city . However , other similar businesses here are not very forthcoming on the how to side of things . Interesting, Americans seem to be much more open 😊 Anything you can post about would be wonderful .

This video really resonates with me, as a reseller I have carried that guilt around for years re: buying low & selling high. Hey Arron I’ve watched most of your videos but I’ve never heard you talk about a certain topic and that is family members being on the property during an estate sale for that seems to be a main problem when I do estate sales is the family members either want to be there or be a part of the estate sale which seems to make matters worse sometimes because they can be rude to customers etc.

Yea I totally get that challenge. I really think the only way to combat this is to build professionalism with yourself/brand which breeds trust, in turn when you are there on that consult, you can let them know that we don’t usually have the homeowners on premise during the set up or the sale, and we charge 5% fee for living in the home/ being present. I tell them that our sales manager will call you at the end of each set up/sale day with a full update. Then I also tell them to come after our staff is done with the set up and pricing to see how well done the project is and usually at that point they can’t believe the amazing work our team has done! This is a great question! The answer is twofold first 95% Estate Sales companies in America are Mom and Pope and have no professionalism. We go up against other companies all the time and we charge more than other companies and we usually get to work and the main differentiator is our professionalism. Secondly, people do business with who they know so if nobody knows you, nobody can do business with you. This is the one thing I think we’ve done really well is getting known by a lot of people in our area so that when they think about an estate sales they think about us.
