Lisa I used to use Hot Glue when doing crafts with the tumbling tower blocks but I stopped after a while and started using Gorilla Wood Glue instead and continued to use the gorilla adhesive glue as well. It works better for me because when I used the hot glue it created a rising with the hot glue.

I love the turtle! I probably would have used one ply of the rope instead of the full but I like the blue shells on the turtle. The seahorse is a very close second

I love the glass star shaped bowls..

I'm not a fan of glitter either so I painted the scatter with a coat of matte mod podge. It keeps the glitter from falling off and getting on everything.
