Not every ship and weapon are available from the beginning. As you progress through missions, you will keep unlocking more and more ships and weapons.

The tanks doesn't have any unique abilities, just different speed and armor. All kinda weapons ( primary , secondary , bomb ) , special, upgrades are modular and interchangeable.

​@@gaming_zen_99 Can you check again by clicking at the tank? I am playing the lastest version and every tanks have their unique power. For example, Interceptor receives bonus biomass when completed mission.

I am playing on andriod and I don't see anything mentioned on each tank's description. But there's specific upgrades to get more biomass. I will be making all weapons ( primary, secondary ) & bombs showcase later on.

​@@gaming_zen_99You are wrong. Tanks have unique abilities. For example, the Sakura tank can deal damage with biomass, or the Red Dragon, which, during invulnerability, restores health by “eating” enemy shells

The game gets quite challenging later on. So any tank with armor 400+ should be fine. Also it's better to upgrade the advanced drone control in upgrades slot which give an extra two drones making it four in total. My personal fav tank is the Archangel.
