I downloaded the demo of FF16 the other day, and I deleted it today. It was so incredibly boring? Not sure if it continues like that, but I didnt feel captivated or engaged at all. I love the FF series, especially 8, 10 and 15. I might try Rebirth. Do I need to try remake first?

1 year on, it's looking increasingly likely that consoles sales is an important part of skimming 30% off of all transactions i.e. making money for shareholders.

I've been enjoying the game but, to be completely honest, 10 hours in, I've been finding the story pretty lackluster and poorly paced and the dialogues range between boring and cringe. The gameplay itself has been a lot of fun though, especially playing around with different characters, party compositions and builds. I also think the game could do a way better job explaining its mechanics, and there's something about it that makes it feel a bit like a free mobile game rather than a fully paid AAA title, maybe it's the UI or the game's use of different currencies, crystals, shards and whatnot. I want to at least finish the story and play a good chunk fo the postgame content before giving a final verdict, but to me, it's a 7/10 so far, or maybe 8/10 being very generous.

I am an iron fist main too and the attacks that he has he can die super fast with so many enemies in one zone and even using the dragon charge move I died easily with a single blow no matter how much damage I use. So instead of decreasing damage, UPGRADE HIM

The Studio was closed because of the terrible performance. The focus was wrong, stuff that doesn't matter became the selling point. If you create a product for entertainment, you create entertainment for certain people. You are targeting a group with selling points, it doesn't work if they don't match

Its not the console they're letting go of it's the ecosystem, who's gonna invest in the only ecosystem that doesn't have any exclusives regardless if it's on console, cloud, up your butt, wherever. Every decision PlayStation/Nintendo makes helps their ecosystem, Xbox aquired too many studios for how small their ecosystem was and now have to give it up to maximize their profits. That approach would not work at all for where Sony/Nintendo are currently, only MS.
