We were staying in West part of the island in Berjaya resort. I think East and central parts are more industrial with cities and ports. But we happened to be there during jelly fish season, around February. It wasn't too negative as jelly fishes very small but still stingy.

You can buy it from the driver. You save 10% if you book online, however me and my friend happen to be around the bus stop, and decided to buy the ticket from the driver.

justin brown lucky you :) most of Lahaina requires ATC notification because of close proximity to airport, however some areas are far enough to fly without restrictions :) AirMap app reflects no-fly zones pretty accurately.
