hey, i so ocr a chem and bio and i have uplearn too and currently going into y13. do you have any advice in terms of revision and how to get an A/A*. and also did you use uplearn consistently and get 90% upscore to get an A? lastly did you use anki? btw congrats :)

Thank you!🙃 I only opted for Uplearn in Yr13 (chemistry) my upscore was around 30% as I mainly used the practice questions and exam papers (which were really helpful seeing as I had done all the past papers available for free online) and didn't complete the lesson parts unless it was a difficult topic. For biology, @BioRach on KZbin was the most valuable as well as this book: www.amazon.co.uk/Oxford-Revise-Biology-Revision-Practice/dp/1382008635/ref=sr_1_1?crid=31IU8ABDJXCJB&keywords=oxford+revise+ocr+a+level+biology&qid=1693658322&sprefix=oxford+revise+ocr%2Caps%2C73&sr=8-1 I also replied to another comment I think with more detail :)

Hey! Thank you💟 I would say that make sure you use the specification as a checklist for your revision. Any spec points you are unsure about, ask a teacher or on google. I did OCR for all exams, so these next tips may not apply to the others? Integral is a website that really helped for Maths (my school had a subscription for all students) There was actually a question on one of the online quizzes that came up in the actual exams! On KZbin - BioRach for Biology was unmatched but Mr Murray was also very good. MaChem guy walkthroughs for Chemistry. I also got Uplearn for Chemistry just in year 13, it was a Christmas discount I’m pretty sure. Those are just resources as I feel like revision techniques are kinda personal, I loved to make mindmaps or ‘brain farts’ then fill in the gaps with a textbook. I had flashcards with me before every exam but I know this can stress some people out. Lastly, the exam walkthrough exemplar answers are probably the least talked about, but they help you get in the headspace of the examiner. Hope this helped!🥰
