Thank-you. I'm suffering from these right now. Hemiplegic migraine seems to be the cause. I'm really hoping for the final diagnosis soon as I see the neurologist in August. It's been debilitating the past 2 years as my regular migraines have changed into the worst kind with long term cognitive issues

I m sorry.. l have some questions... one gp consultant have get registrations max patients ? NHS how much money get paid one patient and gp take money for medical examination if one patient have insurance goverment insurance ? 2nd question ; how much money earn one gp consultant just documents ? For ex. Life insurance and driving licence like that.. how many patients can come for taking this documents? I ask general one gp can earn salary from NHS and take patient for med exam, take money for documents...

I've been a migraine sufferer for years and this year has been the worst 6 months laid up with chronic migraine not one day off, I've been using the injections such as AJOVY and they have done nothing to stop the mad pain...I'm based in the UK 🇬🇧

would you recommend shadowing doctors as a 2nd year med student? I'm unsure yet of what area in medicine im interested in and have not received any clinical exposure yet until 3rd year.

Hello! Thanks for your comment and for watching! Yes you can always ask but I think waiting until your 3rd year isn't a bad thing. Maybe you can use your time to focus on other areas before you have clinical exposure. You don't have to chose a specialty for some time yet. Hope that helps!

Hello, thanks for watching and for your question. It varies based on where you work, what you are doing and so on. The locum rate ranges from around £80-100/hr, usually at the higher end now, in London. Locum shifts as a gp are usually by session and one session is around 3-4 hours. Hope that helps!
