Wow! I wrote ZenTools 20 years ago. I can only assume someone has done some work on them since, as last I checked they wouldn't install on recent Maya versions :-).

When i type in the commands for the zentools in the script editor, i just get an error saying module not found, no module named zen ( yes, the zen folder is in my scripts folder)

ok , quick update , you need to switch to directx 11 in render settings for viewport for it to work and now it works perfectly
