Fyi - when you book the cheapest tunnel ticket, it still allows you to flex your time by up to 3 hours either way. Great little tip and one of the many reasons we always drive!

So sorry you struggled with sea sickness and I hope your Grandma is feeling better. Regarding Concierge booking, you can book way in advance by requesting with the concierge team on email what you want to do. I always do this when I book. So I book such as Remy, Palo, Princess Gathering and spa treatments in the April as I book the cruise a year in advance so I take advantage of Concierge perks.

Hi, The People here (well one of them!) interesting review of Capt Jacks, we (some of the other people that are in our household) were considering Capt Jacks, PYM and Rainforest as our main eating experiences. While we are conscious none of these are cheap options, it is about the experience balanced against cost so I think we may keep it ont he list now.

Captain Jacks is definitely a lovely experience! Check out the menu before you go. The choices weren’t my vibe but loved the atmosphere and theming. Great one to try!

Great video G, I particulary like the detail you share from the prep for the break to the days activities! We are off for a visit in a few weeks via a Disney + discount encouraging an impulse visit! I would certainly give Davy Crockett a look now you have shown how nice it is. We stayed at New Port Bay 2 years ago and staying at Sequoia Lodge for the next visit. Both are walking distance through the EU Boardwalk equivalent.

From memory, we got tickets for £850 per person from attractiontickets.com but look out for discount codes etc. The universal hotel was roughly £600 total, and the Disney hotel was £900 total. Our flights we paid for in points then upgraded with cash but you’re looking at £500ish per person for economy tickets with virgin. TUI usually have cheaper flights to Melbourne and worth checking BA too. Hope that helps!

@@staceylomas we loved the time of year and our split stay! It was hot during the day, a little cooler in mornings/evenings but I only wore a jumper once. It wasn’t too humid either. We found the crowds relatively low, we paid for genie+ and lightning lanes a few days but out of preference not necessity. Hope that helps and have a great time 🤩

The scare actors are over it by November and they dont have so many scares in the houses... youve not gone at the best time for scare effect id say. But no crowds is amazing because you can enjoy the rides more.

Can i ask why you decided to do 12 day instead of a full 2 weeks? Did ot work out cheaper or something? Love your florida vlogs by the way 😊

Thank you!! Various reasons really, mainly as it allowed for 2 weeks off work with time afterwards to recover from any jet lag, without having to take off extra days. It worked out slightly cheaper in terms of hotel cost and spending money but wasn’t our main reason. I’d happily go for two weeks though!

Thanks for watching Sophia! Only you know your own child and what they can handle but it is definitely quite intense! It’s very fast and dark for the majority of the ride. I certainly wouldn’t start with that one and see how they get on with others!

Did VA have specific meal times? My flight is going to be at 12:15pm so I can’t decide if I should take a packed Lunch or have a big brunch or what lol

Your main meal should be 1 hour in, then the mile high tea is 90 mins prior to landing. They will offer snacks in between but I’d always have something in your bag that you know you like, just in case!
