hii little recommendation for the clay you could use the back of your paint brush to smooth it out bit by bit, Like rolling it over the clay until it’s a very thin layer over the lps and to make sure the clay is durable use modpoge over it a few times before painting!

I have a few recommendations, First one being you probably shouldn’t paint with the LPS head off because using the blow dryer to heat it can mess with the paint, Second one being all that dirt and grime on the neck peg is rust and you should remove the peg as it’ll do the same thing again and it breaks down over time due to the rust meaning the LPS will no longer bobble at some point due to it, Third I see a few spots where the paint was layered on a little thick but it happens to the best of us, As for that I suggest just trying to keep even coats of paint.

hi idk if you know this but you can heat the head a little with blowdrier for example for easier removal:3

this is so cute!!! you're very talented, i can give you some tips as someone whos customized LPS since 2016! -acrylic paint i've found works the best, start with 1-3 layers of drybrushing (using a dry brush and a very small amount of paint and basically fanning on the paint) - seal in between layers (i dont normally do this, but if you're having trouble with the previous layer coming off then this helps) i use mr super clear matte spray!!! -patience is so important, very thin layers of paint mixed with water will make the end result super smooth. it can take SO many layers but the end result is so so worth it -dont be afraid to make mistakes :3 the worst thing you can do is panic and be upset over mistakes, some mistakes i've made turned into a part of the custom and i loved it!!! and if you dont, you can always fix it later. you're doing so amazing keep it up!!!
