Me and my big brother's jam back when it came out in 1991 (when I was in third grade and big bro was in fourth grade) and it still is to this day as we're in our early 40s.

Anyone that saw Joni's 1979 tour in person witnessed one of the greatest lineups of musicians ever assembled in history. We're all in awe and we're so jealous of you. At least it was captured on videotape and record for posterity.

In Latin Spanish, Johnny and Deadpool had the same voice actor (Deadpool even makes a joke about feeling relieved since it was confusing having the same voice as Johnny). So this scene in Spanish makes it look like Deadpool edited his voice into Johnny's, making him look guilty of saying all that stuff lol

Gambit could still be alive after events of movie. Look at bottom middle screen on left hand side, you see Gambit walking around. Though it might be some unused footage from when fighting Nova's henchmen, it seems like there's fire coming out of a barrel behind him, like in the fight right before Nova's henchmen.

I was down the street with my friend and our dates waiting in line at a movie theater when we herd sirens and a lot of noise. We saw a lot of people running down the streets being chased by the cops. The cops were throwing CS gas and beating kids with clubs. I would call it a police riot.

Exactly what it was, I would call it the Hippies real introduction to the 60's. No more fun and games, the fight was here. I believe it was during these events that the counterculture attempted to reach out to the Civil Rights Movement. They instead got confronted with Black Power which had taken off after The Watts Riots the year earlier. They couldn't get their help and probably couldn't get them to stay peaceful. Then they reached out to the Chicanos and that went just as badly with them feeling White Californians and Hollywood favored Blacks over them. All this comes from the book " Set the Night on Fire, History of LA in the 60's. It doesn't get into specifics because it's jumping between Sunset Strip, South Central LA and East LA, but it does mention the initial efforts to reach out while noting this is where these communities heads are at. African Americans are getting tired/angry and arming themselves. Chicanos feel abandoned and that no one really sees them as anything but just having crossed the border. The Hippies are learning all this while being the new targets of law enforcement. I think they hoped the Summer of Love would potentially fix all this. Unfortunately, that's when Pandora's Box got torn down amist the riots of The Long Hot Summer of 1967. Or The Long Hot Summer of Love as some are calling it now.

1:30 Yipes, cigarettes in a HOSPITAL -- yuch, this is the shit we had to put up with. And real fuckin' healthy. bleh. Kinda sad to note Gloria Grahame, the reason I came here too: I read she kept sticking paper or something up to "increase" her upper lip, which she thought was too small. She did way too much little plastic surgery on her face too. I read it even got in the way of her speaking, and it's true! Look at her upper lip, it does look like cotton wads are under it, and it does affect her speaking once you listen for it. As if attractive in middle age Gloria had to do anything with her lovely face. The pressures of a male dominated sexist culture, bleh. She is great in this movie, wish she was given leading roles in romantic films, she would've led the way for the next generation of female actresses.
