In my case I have a light switch, with no power button. I installed it a couple of years ago (or maybe less?) and everything worked fine. I had the Smart Life app on my phone and could use SCENES to program when the light switch would turn on or off. Today I opened the app on my phone, and it was disconnected! It asked me to sign in. I didn't remember the password, so I had that reset. I am now inside the Smart Life app but it says NO DEVICES. I tried the "pair device" option and there are tons of icons to select and I have no idea which one. Is my switch a "SWITCH WiFi"? I don't know. But whatever I select, nothing happens! HELP!

I use something like IFTTT for Smart Lights.

I bought a korex smart coffee maker on Amazon and the process of connecting this thing to smart phone is absolutely absurd and overly complicated. It does the smart life app thing but it's nothing even close to being as simple as you make it look. Even if you follow the steps you pointed out it just says can't connect or not detecting device.
