Oh, no. I just got this kit from an auction _because_ I only recently discovered this artist and Mabon was discontinued after something like 2 months??? So, if I run into short drills, I'll have to figure that out myself. :/ I agree with you on the dark blue shade they used in the dress. It's not that noticeable in the image, but it's very obvious on the canvas. I'll have to try and figure out what color I can use to substitute it...

Hi there new sub here, I love your content. I am not carrying over any from October, I participate in alot of events so I force myself to manage my starts and I have an unreasonable stash. I have tried all the things that you have planned on, for me (In Canada) shipping is beyond bizarre....limiting for sure. I have also done a Moment of Serenity from CBR. I am working on Miss Coquilot from Oraloa and Caffeine overload from DAC

Im sure it's super annoying to have your content stolen but on a brighter note you can always look at it as your content is so good people want to steal it 😉. Love your videos and your personality ❤

I finished Mabon for drills and chills and I also did not have a good experience. The glue was slippery in spots for me, I also had the printing issues, and I almost ran out of multiple colors of drills. I was really disappointed - I wanted to enjoy the kit and it wasn't enjoyable :/ Plus I spent what (for me) is a decent amount of money on it. On the positive side, it's helping me be more particular about the kits I do buy! And her hair and crown are gorgeous so I think once there's some distance, I'll enjoy looking at her.

On a positive note, she is pretty. 😊

DAC is lying when they say 20% more drills. They certainly compromise their integrity these days.

DAC is slipping. I am not surprised at all that you had some issues. I have had several kits with slippery glue, lots of concave drills and always not enough drills these days. And now they are mixing up drill shapes and those awful pink lines. I have decided to purchase more from other shops and let DAC get it together. I really like Dreamer Designs and think they will get my $ for now.

Last 3 dac I’ve completed in last couple years have not had good glue at all. Drill slipping . . They have beautiful art but im taking a break and going to try a list of small shops , just purchased first dreamer design and also want a oraola .

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy working on this kit. She really did turn out pretty so I'm glad you were able to push through and finish it! It is crazy to have so many issues on one canvas. I had one kit that I ran out of 10 colors on! They sent them out quickly and I haven't had any issues with recent kits luckily. *knocks on wood* There has only been one kit that I've been super disappointed with and it was from distracted by diamonds. I just hate their square drills! I kept the canvas though and am trying to save up enough left overs that I can complete the kit. It'll take a while but it could happen one day! 😅

Now as to your question, I am working on a very disappointing Diamond Dotz kit. Multiple symbols are so poorly printed I can hardly tell what they are with a flashlight and light pad. The background colors bleed over so you cannot even guess based on the background color. And the gapping squares!!! I actually love the artwork but the experience is not great.

Thanks for your honest review! I do think it came out beautiful. I have this kit in my stash. I picked it up right before it was discontinued because I just loved the completions I was seeing. I am planning to do it for Drills and Chills next year. I am prepared for a few frustrations. I’ve never had any of these issues with a DAC kit. 😬
