As an FYI pressing “need” on loot you don’t need, especially bind on pickup gear, is legit pretty scummy behavior. People who do it for content are cringe, and it can/will really upset people (especially at later levels) and potentially get them to leave group or even grief you.

Jumping/moving affects your character’s hitbox, which impacts the radius of your self-centered AoE abilities (such as arcane explosion and frost nova). The upshot is if you are moving while casting them their radius is increased a little as opposed to standing still, and if you jump and cast them the radius is even larger than when moving. Also if you see this, when you get blink bind it to your most accessible side mouse button and thank me later ;).

As you often Said to Harsteem in wc3 when he does nothing with his Hero, it’s the Same in WoW. ABC = Always be Casting. Have a fixed rotation and repeat it. If you Need Life as a WL, keep Dot‘s up and cast life drain. Even Fear would not have been needed.

When you said a while back that you’d play mage if your warlock died I had an intrusive thought almost hoping you would die soon because mage is the class I always play and I selfishly would enjoy seeing you play it, too. But once you made it to the teens I no longer had this thought…seeing you die after all the distractions was tough to watch :(.

What you said about “Dutch honesty” actually happened to me. I forgot Europeans use the 24-hr. system and booked a train at 5:30 AM instead of 5:30 PM. When I realized it (after also missing my train) I tried to get a new ticket to make it back to Paris from Rotterdam to catch my flight back to the USA the next morning, the train station attendant just kept saying “not possible”. I went back to the hotel I had checked out of earlier that day (who I had given some beer to when I left, so I think he liked me) and he was very empathetic about my plight and motivated to help me find a train back that evening so I wouldn’t miss my flight. Turns out there were quite a few trains that got me back to Paris that evening, so no idea why the train booking woman kept telling me it was “not possible”. “Not possible” in a French-Dutch accent is now an inside joke with my wife and I when something is quite possible but we want to joke/pretend it isn’t.

SC2 was fun when it released: The campaign was good. Melee was fun in 2v2. However, they made colossal mistakes: One of the greatest strength of War3 was custom maps. SC2 did not have the proper UI for players to engage with Custom maps. Ranked was kinda crap. There was no visible MMR or progression. At first you could only go up to diamond, that was the highest achievable rank. You easily got that, then what? Nothing more to do. I quit the game after a few months and never looked back until coop commanders came out and we had some fun with some friends with that mode.

I knew his chat would fuck him wasting his time with all the backseat gaming disguised as "help" nobody told bro to stop trying to run around and just cast your spells instead. he wouldve been perfectly fine if he just kept casting or wanding. mage will not be any easier

definitely one of the most frustrating things to watch new players doing is pointless running. I think people think that the mobs will get tired or something, but every step taken in any direction other than in a straight line directly away from the point of agro is completely wasted time

Grubby, if you read this please do not just stop trying to fear if it resists one time. Spam it till it sticks. And don't fight mobs that are above your level in hardcore. Also one more thing look at the percentage on top of the nameplates it shows your threat, when ti turns yellow or even before 100%+ threat just stop everything you're doing to the mob and just health funnel.

Im sure chat told you 50x by this point, but in a situation like this fear (or poly now on mage) is definitely the right play, but you should expect a high resist rate against a high level mob. So you should be spamming the fear button and be prepared to have to cast it 2-3 times before it lands. So just spam that button and then cancel the cast and runaway when you see one of fears has gone through.

Grubby I am a new fan and I learned so much about you from this video. You’re such an honest, genuine, good-hearted individual. It’s so refreshing to see a video game personality that isn’t so cynical and sarcastic. Take care.
