I remember thinking acting crazy like Thelonious Monk would improve and draw more attention to my piano playing. Obviously, I was wrong. Soon enough, I permanently ruined my life making some reckless decisions that separated me from the piano. Now I can only dream of what could have been, but honestly, I just didn't have what it takes to leave a mark in history as a musician. But now that we have Trump again, even if I had succeeded I'd now be forced to leave the country for my safety. Crazy life.
