You did pretty well actually, son. I used to try and thrash through stuff like this on my KLR650- it can be a real workout.

That place looks miserable. Bike isn't geared for crawling that kinda chunk rock terrain. 14/44 is a massive improvement over stock. You can't keep the revs anywhere near the power curve in 1st even for that kinda stuff, thats why it's lugging plus you need clutch control skills bad. You need to modulate it a lot to crawl that kinda stuff and not be on the verge of stalling constantly like that. Regearing is the best "mod" you can do and one of the cheapest.

Looks like you figured out the speed needed to keep it going. would you recommend this bike?
@iksnyzrog Жыл бұрын
It depends on what you’re looking for. But it’s a great bike for beginners!! Or veterans who are looking for a mellow bike. I really like it.

riding colorado, Taylor Park and alpine loop area. I think it would do great in that altitude if you are on the gas.@@iksnyzrog

@@GUTPILE It will do pretty much anything YOU can do. Obviously it won't do hard enduro, but the bike is pretty capable.

@@jagorzynskiwith the right mods the 300 is fantastic. I keep nearly the same speed as I do on my 450rl offroad. Even with the suspension revalved on my 450, the 300 with rally raid suspension is better on the slower rocky stuff, like in this video.

It’s definitely not the bike 😂

@@jagorzynskino actually it is a lot of the bike... the tall gearing isn't for that terrain. The 300L is more geared toward road and flowing trails. $40 can fix that.
@jesusfraire4900 Жыл бұрын
Been there done that with that same bike. Do you have any mods on your 300l ?? Suspension?
@jagorzynski Жыл бұрын
I hope you fared better then I did!! No mods yet besides skid plates and the like. Stock suspension and tires.

Are you using discs that are mini discs for throwing or marker discs? I know they are about the same size and look to be just fine
@jagorzynski3 жыл бұрын
I updated the description with a link to the discs I was using. I think they are marker discs, but they actually fly really nice. Surprisingly stable!!
