God screws Moses, denying him access to Israel, after ALL he’s done for God. THAT lets me knowing, as a 10 year old, that the Jewish God was one fn disappointed!!!!

Love anything on Ruby. I truly believe that Ruby is key to understanding the Assassination, the Tippit Murder, and the Cover-Up. His siblings are useless. They just parroted what Ruby said until Ruby came out and said that people were controlling him and they were behind the conspiracy. Even even suggested it went all the way up to LBJ.

Great interview! The Master, the writer's writer. Love everything he's written. Hope I can find these last works, too. Highly recommend his Collected Works to anyone that appreciates great writing. Living Together is, for me, one of the best short stories ever written. Wonderful to see Mr. Friedman treated with the respect he deserved. Thank you for posting this.

I was a teenager when Denneny started the magazine Christopher Street. I used to take the train into NY from NJ to buy a copy and hide it when I got home. I was star-struck by the works of the authors he promoted. Finally, I could read literature that tried to paint onto a blank canvas, in a palette of words, what it meant to be gay. Not all of the works were masterpieces. But the mere fact of their existence was invigorating. "On Christopher Street," is a memoire of what Denenny found to be the most pivotal issues, roiling debates, and high-velocity change that followed Stonewall. From his perch at Christopher Street, he documented the gay community from the point of literature and cultural criticism. Looking back on this time, one wit remarked, "Gay men, mirroring the mortality of their beloved dogs, lived seven years for every one year in the straight world." Denneny's passing is tragic. Let's hope that "On Christopher Street" is both eulogy and epitaph. And that it generates among a new generation of gay men a bittersweet nostalgia for an era they didn't live, but should cherish.

Poetry can be written in a riddle type manner and this is evil; and can be used as ritual. I had to suffer through a PBS interview of Wiman. (I only listen when traveling occasionally) if I find an interesting topic, otherwise it has a lot of crap. This poor man is sooo lost. His family too. The Bible DOES tell us how to live and the consequences of doing things against God's Word. There is so much info in the Bible, it's amazing. Wiman reads as a God centered self(Satan). You and your family's souls belong to the dark one. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE WORDS AND THOUGHTS OF MEN, NO MATTER HOW HIGHLY ESTEEMED when it takes God out of the picture!!! Teaching "divinity", what candy? Lol. God says ALL religions are of Satan. The one God, "IS". This is written. Anything else is idol worship directed to Satan whether you know it or not. I pray you quickly find God, but first you need to rid yourself of demons. And yes, Christians can and do live in Christ daily, hourly, etc. He is with me everyday, and I feel His presence always!!! You have never allowed the Spirit of God to abide in you. Most things in life are quite simple! We don't need to ponder and ponder when we have good, solid answers to life found in God's word.

Patrick is so good that he has his own state license plate ( www.nj.gov/mvc/vehicles/animal.htm ). New Jersey cartoonists are better than all other cartoonists. In fact New Jerseyans are better than all other humans. They are the Crème de la crème. Gil knows this to be fact, even if he is modest.
