Good job on the mix. Great stuff. So many memories. If I’m not mistaken, this album was released before electronic phase-shifting was even invented. They obtained that sound using Hammond Leslies.

I bought this album when it came out - I remember listening to this cut over and over in my father's garage. I was drawn to the complexity and and time feel - and of course Todd's voice.

I expanded in the 70's. Best idea for my friend to put those boxy headphones on me and tell me to close my eyes. Next thing I knew I had the best kiss of my life with the intro! you had to be there, lol. Was coming off the plastic waffle, haha. Those were MY days. Seen Todd 4 times in concert, all were stellar.
