I have hypothroid issues and possibly celiac disease but when I tried a paleo diet a few years ago it was life changing. Like you said, I got to a point were I could barely walk and I thought it was arthritis but it was inflammation. I literally had to hold on to the walls and furniture to move around, but when I stopped gluten I woke up one day and could walk on my own. It takes discipline because there are no cheat days. It has to be a forever change or the inflammation comes right back.❤

I’m a levothyroxine fan. I’m someone who is not a big Pharma sycophant by any means but after dealing with hashimoto’s I was in denial for 3 month after my diagnosis thinking I could just eat clean, red light therapy, Brazil nuts whatever to fix it….it didn’t. Started on 50, went from TSH of 10 down to 3.7. now on 100 & finally having normal amazing bowel movements twice a day (sorry for graphic details) & I eat worse then before. Previously I thought I had colon cancer/crohns it was so bad & I would get depressed about it because I was always uncomfortable. So to anyone starting medication, don’t be scared. & get your TSH under 2. A lot of ppl claim you can live with it above but you will have symptoms & make your life more difficult than it needs to be. The medication is gonna help you be normal.

That still sounds a lot like celiacs. Especially the cold part that sounds like iron deficient anemia which im pretty sure celiacs is causing in me, you had rashes, inflammation, fatigue even still after going on levothyroxine which is the same for me and i have hashimotos and celiacs. So it's surprising to hear that tested negative.

My dear Matt, I decided to learn the guitar at 45 years old 4 years ago already at the start of the covid-19 pandemic just before being confined. I always wanted to learn but for thousands of reasons I didn't get started. I love the sound of acoustic guitar and playing it myselfprovides an incredible feeling and pleasure I learned a lot from you and others from here in Quebec, Canada The first thing I learned from you is (The Dance) by Garth Brooks my favorite artist wow I I worked a lot and I play it every time I pick up my guitarbig thank you Matt for all this beautiful and excellent work that you do for us teaching your excellent tutorial in a simplicity that makes me very happy 😊 thank you Matt McCoy god bless you.🫵👍🤘

Brother, I commented on your other video. I am a pastor with Hashimotos, and let me tell you this disease is insane. The bitter medicine the LORD gives us to heal us and help us. May God continue to keep you feeling good, and I pray I can begin to feel more like you do!

Are you still on a gluten free diet? How do you feel about your hashimotos now? This is a terrible disease I have been suffering. Gluten free or not, doesn't seem like it helps.

Yes, go gluten free I had digestive issue and I have been gluten free for two months, I will never, never ever go back. I just have to get use to this new wonderful life I have been blessed with. All the doctors I went to see for years couldn’t help me. The KZbin doctors, God and a lot of research helped me. I have not felt this good for a very long time. Thank you god❤

I wish I would have found this video years ago. But you are so right! I have been GF for three weeks now. I have done my best to do it right. I had just two times that I had gluten during this time and wasn’t thinking about it. But once I realized what I ate or drank, I also realized how I felt within 30 mins. Bad. It’s gets easier! Habits are formed and I am slowly becoming more educated on what I’m eating. Thanks for sharing with people! It’s important and could be life changing!

A simple blood test can list all foods that trigger sensitivity/inflammation and takes all the guesswork out. Eliminating these foods for 12 weeks, you'll be feeling amazing, and your athletic potential is instantly improved! Besides gluten, bakers and brewers yeast can also be highly inflammatory.

Why you eat grains any way? In nature we eat meat and some seasonal fruits. You can reserve hypothyroidism by higher fat carnivore diet, which is our natural diet.

Hey, just an FYI, there are a lot of people who cannot take levothyroxine because it’s T4 only meds so if you took that med and you felt like poop after you took it just the same as before you took it. Check out stop the thyroid madness I do not work for them. I don’t make any money from them, but they saved my life.

Not only gluten-free but dairy free apparently is very important for many of us

Oh PS when you go to a restaurant and they say gluten-free it’s not… if it’s got grain it’s not gluten-free. Gluten-free means no grains zero grains not oatmeal not barley.,
