It is definitely a bucket list adventure pal. I do not recommend completing it on an EMTB as I did pal. If I was to do it again, I would take my normal Mountain Bike. The climb to the summit is definitely doable. When you get to the summit all the effort really is worth it. The views are spectacular. The ride along the ridge and the single track descent that follows is great fun. Also, best done on a nice clear Summers day. Cheers. Stoozer. 👍🏻

Alright Donny. I have more trails planned down that way so I will definitely seek you out when I intend to do them. I just need to get myself sorted out. Hopefully I will be up and running and back to my good old self from late March to April onwards. This this route is an absolute classic and has a bit of everything. Honestly, the VW California Ocean is just brilliant. It is so versatile, it returns a great MPG (45 average MPG on a long journey) compared to other motorhomes. It drives like a car and fits into almost any parking place. This is our second one, we absolutely love it. I'm glad the video sparked your interest. Cheers. Stoozer.

I had a bad experience with a bull in the past Christoph. On that occasion, it chased me over a wall. I have since learned from a friend, who is a farmer, that the best way to treat a Bull is to make a lot of noise and take charge. It has worked for me ever since my friend 😃. It really was a glorious hot day for a change in Scotland, I only put my jacket on to avoid the bites from the dreaded Scottish midges. As always, thank you for enjoying my adventure. Cheers. Thank you very much Christoph. Fortunately the hub was not damaged and was easily sorted with an inexpensive repair at my local bike shop. Fortunately I had a nice soft landing in the bush so apart from scratches all was good. The drop in was actually a lot steeper than it looks on camera and took me by surprise. I was trying to jab the breaks to slow down but the front wheel just turned and threw me 😂🤣😂. I enjoyed 'making love' to the bush though 😎.
