It depends. For example, Lupo demo and Subaru Version have working A.I. in pre-alpha of Yosemite while in Prius demo it's broken. I bet those changes you talk about were made specifically for GT4 physics and CPU levels

Because this build wasn't found on a devkit. It was burned onto a Blu-ray disc at PD headquarters and sent to QA testers in the UK. The testers were only under NDA to not release any info of the game before final release but they were also not required by Sony to destroy or return the discs so the testers just kept them. And one of these discs went on sale on ebay and purchased by GT Archive here and eventually was dumped online for anyone to download and play.

Well the menu sounds actually did taken from GTHD.

Hidden Drift Trial showed that it was based on Spec II rather than Spec III published in 2009. But I also believe, that demo marked the beginning of retail GT5 development. Actually, GTPSP could be considered to be build on GT5P code, hidden tracks that were found in GT5 possibly were ripped from GTPSP considering graphic glitches and blurred textures.

@@TheFurryInShambles I think it's more that the scope creep of GT5 meant very clear sacrifices in the game, and the long dev time meant a lack of focus in the creative direction, GT5 is by all means much more conservative stylistically than 5P, 5P was a much more focused product which meant that ideas could be fleshed out better, PD had not yet began second guessing themselves by 5P's release, something which could be seen in 5, even in the graphical downgrades as the game grew ever bigger.

@@GTArchivePaiky Still, even after those GT4 demos from 2004, they kept some easter eggs. I'm aware, they made this trial version for this sole purpose of TMS, but even beta version of GT5P tracks are still a small "milestone" in their game progress
