The machine control/buffer cannot keep up with nc code! Try that same program in my MAZAK I 300 AWC w/ smooth control and same minutes!

Dude, that's one of my dream machines for a business I want to get going down the line. How is it treating you these days? Did you go with HSK or Capto pallets?

100% rapid. Way to beat up your machines. Just because my truck says it'll do 140 on the Speedo I'm not gonna hold it off the limiter all day.
@gredangeo7 жыл бұрын
100% Rapid is perfectly acceptable. Mazak has already limited the maximum rapid for you. If they felt you could go faster, they would have.
@dnm27956 жыл бұрын
If you don't run 100% rapid on production runs good way to lose your job.
@Cara.3146 жыл бұрын
they are designed to constantly operate at those speeds. your truck is not.

That rapid looks slow compared to some of bigger mazak the horizontals. And that tool change process is painfully slow. The door doesnt even open until the tool is sitting there waiting for the tool and then it even has to travel into the magazine still. Cool machine, but i disagree that the use of 100% rapid is "hard" on it.

Do they typically machine those from solid?
@baledefence13088 жыл бұрын
Normally a Tee Piece like this would be cast and final machined if Required. As this was a specialized part and a small number was required, it was more economical to machine from solid. The added advantage is that changes can be made very easily if required and you are not stuck with the original shape from a casting.
