Super impressive for that lil guy to handle that big bike he will be a weapon when older !
@dj-kleinКүн бұрын
He is tiny, about 75 lbs, but his bike is small too. It's an XS Norco Aurum HSP with 27.5" wheels, just about the smallest DH bike the world has ever seen! He rides everything in the park, this trail is chill for him. These days, it me (dad) who is struggling to keep up 😤

Go to a welding supply store and get a cylinder of argon gas put argon gas in the tires I think you will like the feel
@dj-kleinКүн бұрын
That's actually an amazing idea to prevent tire pressure from changing with temperature! We'll probably stick with air, just because hand pumps are easy, but I can see that being an advantage.

Hey, what type of helmet is she wearing like I know it’s a troy Lee, but which one
@dj-klein7 сағат бұрын
Nory is wearing a TLD D3 in size XS here. Unfortunately, she crashed and we've since replaced it with a D4 in size XS. The D4 fits slightly larger than the D3, so just beware if you're on the smaller end of the size range.

How much does it cost
@dj-klein15 күн бұрын
My wife rode and raced this Range for a year before deciding she wanted a proper DH bike. (We ride 50+ DH days per year.) So we converted it to DH and used all the enduro parts on a new Norco Sight frame for her trail bike. Nothing went to waste and we built the bikes without paying for labor, but bikes are expensive.

So i saw you guys put DH forks on enduro bikes. can you tell me how you do that. like what to measure or look for if there are any adapting or measuring. just the whole process.
@AutoStreamMastery19 күн бұрын
also can you include about changing the rear shock to a bigger mm size?
@dj-klein15 күн бұрын
Yeah, so we did that conversion on our Norco Range as part of converting it to a mullet DH bike. For the rear, we got a different link arm from WRP components which requires a different shock stroke for 206mm travel.
@dj-klein15 күн бұрын
We installed a dual-crown BoXXer in front. For this to work, you’ll need a headset adapter for the lower crown race because the DH fork has a straight steerer tube instead of tapered. The adapter ring we used was from Cane Creek.
