Thanks David, listened to this a few times. I'm here in the aftermath of LA fires. Its been quite a journey. Seven friends from our beach volleyball group lost their homes. There has been an outpouring of love and support from Go Fund me campaigns for those who need money, to a large clothes drive (most people said they needed clothes immediately as they only had what they were wearing), to exchanging info. on insurance claims, to just being present to hear people's grief, fear, etc. We've always been close but I haven't experienced us being this close, and we are already starting to come back to play volleyball. In addition, the SRF / Yogananda temple, Lake Shrine, was left ninety percent in tact even though it is an enormous property in the heart of the fires. 3 members, a father son and daughter, who are trained in fire fighting, stayed and fought the fires (with the assistance of a large pump that a monk had guidance to buy just 3 months earlier). Our congregation leader spoke on the fires and said we should be grateful to have been protected and humble as to not think of ourselves as special. He further said the temple would help other temples / churches in the area that were burned down by providing the space for their congregations to gather in their own services if they desired to. The celestial speed up is in full demonstration in "the city of angels." Everywhere we look miracles are happening - from spiritual seekers and atheists alike. I do feel above the battle ground and listen to your talks most days to keep anchored in spirit. Much love, Charles

Someone, anyone, tell me how to let go of the fact that my husband molested my two young grandsons 4yr old and 6 yr old....I reported it to the police and everything but how do I let go when there are triggers that bring the images back to my mind?

I have no idea how to put it lightly. I feel your pain and i feel entropy in my soul; I interpret this as a betrayal to the highest degree. I pray your grandsons live a long life and heal duly from this trauma, my prayers are with you and your family. as true as all of that is, none of it helps directly with your scenario. I believe only you have the strength to interpret what this evil means to you and your grandchildren and how you can move forward from this betrayal. and maybe the pain, in time, will pass. If i have anything to say, give them love (not materials to distract them, not food to stuff their face with) show them especially that not every relationship ends in betrayal. show them that if they've been betrayed by one person they trust the most, they can put double the trust in their (grand)mother. i also believe that, in their presence, you should bar yourself from being involved with any man until these children are more than grown and individual. they most likely will never trust a father figure again until they can exist in enough peace to grow up and be the father that was robbed from them. Pedophilia is a disease. Pedophiles show signs. these signs were ignored until they could not be ignored any longer. you now have the responsibility to make things as right as you possibly can for these children. you are also forgiven for your mistakes. god bless you. the road is hard, but in scenarios like these, you have the power to make this right, granted to you by none other than our loving and merciful god.
