I just found posterfix KZbinr! I'm hooked. I'm catching up on the old episodes. This has it all! Great art work, technical prowes, good narrative, funky jazz fusion, a guy who looks like David Letterman's brother, and fine editing. Saving history one poster at a time!

I’m guilty of complaining about one of the music choices, and pretty immediately realized it was a d$€k move on my part, haha! I’ve really been enjoying your videos since discovering this channel, though. Thanks for putting these out.

Does this process affect the posters value?
@posterfixchannel2 күн бұрын
It enhances value for movie posters and most kinds of vintage posters. But it's the true condition, before linen backing that determins its value.

That thing was a mess. Looks fantastic, now! One of my favorite '50s sci-fi posters! Great Albert Kallis art.

There is only one kind of Frame for that print. A Cinema Marque! 'Coming Soon!' or 'Now Showing', black and chrome, small globe light bulbs, maybe a few Cinema Cards framed next to it.... for sure, put it outside or inside the Home Theater area..... hey, what can I say? I'm weird.

Great content and thx for sharing about your interesting business. Very cool to see craftsmen doing great work. Only wish the video resolution and tint/color balance of the video was a bit tighter. Nice work!
@posterfixchannel15 күн бұрын
I admit the color balance is weird, but it's because i was experimenting- trying to make the whole scene resemble the colors in the poster. But it had the overall effect of "cooling" the whole picture.

@@posterfixchannel After I posted my comment, I thought about that very same thing and that it was likely an artistic choice. Hope my comment is not viewed as negative since the last thing I want to do is throw cold water on somebody doing great work like yourself. IMO, the world needs more people who are following what they love and doing things that are unique and special. Thx for the content and inspiration.

No problem!I do appreciate people like you having thoughts on production issues, etc. they are often helpful. I admit the video looks like old faded film from the 70s. Ha.

Wonderful poster with great graphics. It looks very fragile. I was wondering if it is too fragile to treat it to remove the dark lines along the creases before backing it? Ok, never mind. I should have watched to the end.

You popped up in my feed, and am hooked🫶. The music reminds me of Mr Roger's (the piano music at least😊) and it is so suitable for your craft. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing your work.

I have always liked the piano music in Mr Rogers Neighborhood. And I agree- I try to use it like it (the piano) is talking back to me....Thanks for noticing that. Other people hate the music I use. I dont care, using music makes me entertained. (as the creator)
