I know back in back MTV & Vh1 wasn't playing RB music until late at night sometimes. BET came in and change things. But what not having BET forced us to listen to other genre of music. In doing so my genre of music on my play list covers all racial lines. One day my mother heard me playing this. I had the tape 11 albums for a .01 from Columbia records yall know I had 4 or 5 different names. It turned out to be one of favorite songs of all times. And starting in 2020 I would take my mother to her cancer treatments and I would play all the music of her child hood to make her sing & smile even though she was a evangelist at this point. I played this song on the way over there , its a 50 mile trip. She just looked and me with a smile & said thank you son. I play this today for you mom(RIP 3/9/23 644am) we'll see each other again.
