When 52 This album brought me back from the worst place physically and mentally. i listened from the start and it gave me my grounding when i was in hospital not certain where i was when unbelievably disorientated,scared,confused and in pain.It made me relax,trust,love the things i love and make the side of my brain that loves work properley once again. Now recovering from a seizure❤Love to my support and to myself for holding on so very tight . Xx

Nice! Is that a shopping mall? I like that people got up to dance 😁 Its a shame i can't hear any of the guitars, only the drums and bass if i turn up loud but im using my phone to watch, maybe it's better on pc or tv. 🤘

It will sound better linked to a hifi - or even to a Bluetooth speaker. It was recorded in a recreational venue with bars and eateries, open day and night. The room is indeed large and somewhat spacey/defuse with regard to acoustics, I'm afraid

Nice, this is a hard song to sing right. You smashed it. The only criticism i have it that you held back my dude, go for it! You'll nail those notes! I wish I could sing, the 12 strings really add to the melodic sadness 😢 Edit: OK you let it take you in the last section. This is my favourite song ever btw

Hi Aidan! Its been a minute (Carl/Nina). Just watched, and would I be wrong in thinking that it could be simplified with a capo on 1 and using open chords? That's what, Emin/Gmaj/Dmaj/Amaj (accessible chord shapes with the capo) and in effect the song is in C#maj giving us the chords F#, C#, G#, D#m, A#m, Fm, Cdim? Today's gonna be the day, etc.
@aidanmarshall4 ай бұрын
Hey guys! You would certainly be right there re: capo simplification. With the capo @ 1, it would be played like you're in E minor (original key Fm). Many people do play it this way. However, this is a graded version, and Trinity will not allow a capo in the exam room. Therefore, this more difficult (no capo) version is considered to be Grade 5 level
@TristanJCumpole4 ай бұрын
@@aidanmarshall Very interesting! Well you know me Aidan....always kicking against the walls ;-) Only this week I advised somebody to develop their dependence on certain fingerings by practicing maj/min with roots on the 6th string. As much as a capo might simplify this one, there's no replacement for form and flexibility. This one is probably the most basic to master.
