Why would any singer want to be known for sounding like another singer and not herself?

I wondered if Richard contacted her. Great question. Glad you asked. She's an amazing talent, and it's past time modern pop be cleaned up with some geniune talent. Really rooting for her.

Wow 🤩 just like Marc Martel I generally believe in reincarnation, just like the originals note for note, breathtakingly good, amazing, Tori Holub should be a huge artist like Tayler Swift, someone should sign her up, sensationally good wow I have listened to I only just begun about 10 times in a row, wow. 🤩

When I heard Tori sing “we’ve only just begun”, I was transported back to my teens when I heard Karen Carpenter sing it on TV. Breaks my heart she died to young. I thought it was Karen singing and Tori was lip syncing it. Tori is amazing.

She's super talented but I think her voice will get even better with age she's so young and fresh I am truly following her progress
@larryschiff34732 ай бұрын
Tori may be young and absolutely beautiful, but what I appreciate most about her is that she doesn't need to twirk around in a video in a thong in order love her talent. She has a voice that stands out on its own, and she doesn't need all kinds of voice enhancements to appreciate her. Also, after watching some of her interviews it's very obvious she's extremely grounded and very intelligent. I wish for her an amazing career and hope to see her perform in NY.

I know every word, every beat to one of my favorite bans ever! I grew up listening to Foreigner. The algorithm brought me here to your channel, since I've been listening to "Rev on the Red Line" and looking at my original albums. I just got my driver's license the year "Head Games" album came out. Every time I hear a Foreigner song, I think of Lou Gramm and having the best times and memories in my life!

I love Tori's Carpenters covers, but she needs to find her own voice with standards and original material.

almost teared up . She reminds me of memories , like Tori , I grew up with The Carpenters. They were before my time but mom and dad had them playing all the time. The music is the background of my memories 🥹. Ty ! If you weren’t brought up in the 80’s wouldn’t understand . Was a wonderful time to be alive

as a Christian I wish many judgmental Christians would stop looking down at Amy Grant and judging her but many of these judgmental people who claim to be Christians turn a blind eye to former president trumps constant lying, his constant smearing and slandering others, his history of cheating on all his wives, trump history of raping one of his ex wives and his history of raping of 20 or more women and sexually harassing women who have spoken out and said publicly they were raped and sexually harassed by Donald Trump and his abuse of power on January 6th 2020

Richard Carpenter should rebuild The Carpenters with Tori Holub as the lead singer and release a new album on behalf of The Carpenters. I'd like to listen to new songs of The Carpenters with Karen's voice.

@romeom4873 No, Samantha Escarbe should rebuild Virgin Black with Rowan London as the lead singer but the band is broke making the final trilogy of the Requiem Trilogy so it won't happen. Virgin Black and Karen Carpenter RIP!

What a great interview. Tori is so humble in that she doesn't realize how close the tember of her voice is almost identical as Karen- which most of the world considers the greatest female voice. She nailed the inflection, but no other singer I've found has that tember. Now Tori needs to find new music which Karen AND Richard would have recorded and the world will have a new catalog of songs which will always be a classic.

Speaking of which. Tori just released a re-recording of Something In Your Eyes. She performed it at the 55th Anniversary but wasn’t happy with the resulting sound. So she made a “Studio” version. It’s on her channel. OMG.

Well, I shed tears listening to Tori. It's probably not "fair" to compare her lovely voice to Karen but I have to. I know everything has been said, but it was a shock when Karen passed, and to hear Tori sing like her is amazing. Such a lovely young lady and I thank her for bringing this back.

This was a great interview. Tori is so genuine and down to earth and she sure as heck sounds like Karen. I have to believe that Richard is well aware of and impressed with Tori's voice. "Something To Believe In" sure sounds like a song the Carpenters would have sung,
