I watched this and I liked it so much I binged all your other videos. You really have a good eye and I love the fact that you are always looking up The simple things like capturing the leaves and trees over the season, the colour of your curtains with the sun pouring in and the shadows on the wall The river scenes were great too. The shot with your bike on the path above the river bank was so Ghibli To top it off the music you play is always so nice and relaxing Maybe aged care is not your true calling ^_^ Thanks for the enjoyable journey and I cant wait to see where it leads next
@jolspensieve2 ай бұрын
Wow, I’m amazed you have those keen observations. It’s nice to meet a fellow observer from time to time. As you’ve pointed out, I really love the river. I like how the sunlight reflects towards the water, calm waves making it magical. I also love to take notice and take clips of mundane things like how the wind blows the curtain at summer when its windy or watching people spending time at the park, or the fish flying out of the water to catch food. I am so blessed to get to have sceneries like these. Most of my video inspiration comes from Ghibli and korean/japanese movies. So far, I enjoy my work as a caregiver. I’ve always loved taking care of the elderly as I haven’t had the chance to do for my grandparents (they were gone too soon). Don’t get me wrong, I still do love my work now 😅. I honestly think it’s my calling along with making art, making videos and taking pictures. Thank you so much for sharing your appreciation. It means a lot to me. I’ll do my best to keep it up and improve. Best wishes to youuu 🎉

Appreciating things in the moment is important, I hope you're still finding joy in living your dream there. Your videos show you're an introspective person so I imagine you do a better job than most people of appreciating the present. I try to practice meditation sometimes to help me slow down and focus on the here and now, otherwise, I'm constantly looking ahead to the next thing. My family and I just returned home from our first trip to Japan, including Osaka, and we all loved it there so much. Your videos are giving me some therapy as I get ready to head back to my job. All the scenes of life in Japan warms my heart. Good luck to you.
@jolspensieve2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, it made me so happy. I agree, currently I observed that meditation comes to me very naturally as I grow each year. I don’t really think about it too much now compared to when I was in my early 20s-like the need to do it just to silence my thoughts is now gone. Whenever I have the chance to slow down and just breathe in the air or the surroundings around me, I take it-no matter how mundane it is. Thankfully, Japan (especially in Osaka) really gives that “relaxing” & “peaceful” feels I enjoy the most. Happy to hear you enjoyed your family trip here, and wishing you the best energy going back to your job. Cheers!
