I love the concept and point you are making. As a player with less than a year experience trying to throw with proper form, I have watched a lot of KZbin videos. Practice has been something I continue to embrace. My motivation to learn has been so that I may adequately help the pure beginners in my area because I have been in discussion with our county parks department about putting in a course locally. I liked your comparison between the Ultrastar and the Truth. Great visual. Wouldn't someone throw an Ultrastar differently than a Truth? Remember I am just a beginner. Last year I was casually playing disc golf with throws I learned many years ago playing catch but I was using disc golf discs. My form was awful for throwing those discs but I am now slowly and gradually developing smoother and more fluid throws. I feel like a bull in a china shop. I will be keeping score and competing in the Senior Grandmaster Class, amateurs at local tournaments and leagues in 2017 as I now have a PDGA number. I have not yet met a Senior Grandmaster so I am looking forward to learning so much more in the coming year.
