Kong and his species are apes, not monkeys, anyone who is smart and learns things say there's a difference, also Shimo is a female, not a male for correction in 12:01, also you should mention in 9:15 that Shimo's ice breath on Kong's arm leaves a frost bite.

@13:39 - She was actually a half-fishwoman and her gills were activated. How do I know this? Earlier there was a scene in the movie where the doctor asked her about those marks and she said she had them since birth.

yes. she was found near the river which could be where she emerged from. Plus when she gets healed, the gills are very visible which could mean that it was already there

Technically, they aren't teleporting to the same places they have been. The Earth moves through space, so if they teleported somewhere they were 6 months ago, they would just end up in the middle of space. Which knowing this bring up an interesting hypothetical. If you wear a shirt, and then give it to somebody and they take it somewhere you've never been before, would you be able to teleport there because of your shirt?
@fr97146 ай бұрын
They don’t teleport through time. Only space. Space and time are interconnected. So if you teleport in time you’re also teleporting through space
@cultofmel6 ай бұрын
@@fr9714 I didn't say they teleport through time though.
@fr97146 ай бұрын
@@cultofmel Well your point is if they teleport somewhere 6 months ago, they should be at the point of Earth 6months ago which is deep space now. But no, that's wrong. They're teleporting to the relative location where it is now and not where it was 6m ago because it is about teleporting through space to a location now. So if the relative coords 6months ago was a,b,c then it is with respect to Earth and not some other point in the Universe which you're assuming to be. If it were then yes, they'd be in space. But because it is relative to Earth (say Earth's axis) then the a,b,c MOVES through space as well. So the point 6months later is still the same a,b,c Hope that makes it clear.
@cultofmel6 ай бұрын
@@fr9714 So what, if they went to another planet they would never be able to teleport back there? Because I really doubt that.
@fr97146 ай бұрын
@@cultofmel I don't understand the quesrion. If they took a ship to another planet or moon or wherever they can still teleport there. The a, b, c relative to earth moves with earth. So as the moon or other planet moves in time through space so too does its relative coord to teleport to in time So if he teleports 6months later to moon or a other visited planet he can go back

The movie was all right but a disappointment. The book it was loosely based on was an under rated masterpiece of science fiction. (Jumper by Steven Gould, 1992). If you like believable well written science fiction I recommend the book.

I work in Logistics. David didnt have to steal anything. He could have legitimately earned FAAAAR more money transporting people and cargo for a price. Millions of dollars per month - easily.

then the paladins wouldve found him even quicker
@Tuesday4247 ай бұрын
@fxblexx Maybe so, but he would have had wealthy customers whose business depended on him. That would probably get him the best protection he could ever hope for. How much would people pay to travel across the ocean without a 12 hour flight? How much would they pay to move time-critical cargo instantaneously? There are other potential uses which come to mind as well - rescue operations are often limited by how difficult it is to reach people or to bring essential equipment to them quickly. David's powers could have been used to save people from Everest, shipwrecks, or during natural disasters. He could have saved thousands of people during 9/11, for example.
