After that first half performance the difference second half was outstanding. Couldn’t see it happening myself but fair play to the lads 2nd half was probably best I’ve seen this season. COYH!

A lot of changes to the team (some enforced, some not) then multiple substitutions during the course of the game. It's hardly surprising that the result turned out the way it did when Richmond and Hercules are taken off to give minutes to other players. Treat it in this way and expect to lose.

As always, very impressed with Hayes' forward line: very creative link up play, which caught out Salisbury numerous times. Defence another matter. Dont work as a unit; very naive to what opponents are about to do, and look very easy to play against. Rule one has got to be, as a defender attempts a challenge or block, others must work out where the next threat comes from, and move into position. Open your eyes, think quickly, and back up colleagues. Goals against Salisbury all arose, because defenders just didn’t anticipate crosses, passes or shots towards goal. The keeper can see everything, so must be more vocal. Defending is about anticipation. Getting first to the ball. If you're second, they score.

It’s incredible how you guys made a decent amount of money off the Ted Lasso tv show, yet no improvements are made when it comes to league positioning and team performances. I honestly believe Yeading FC didn’t need the merger, they had already left their mark as a non league team compared to Hayes. The facilities you have are wasted on this team.

Great display from the keeper. Hungerford are very concise and relentless in their attacking. They turned Hayes inside out. The incredible goals from Hayes, were individual pieces of genius.

Teams should be doing their homework about how to play against Plymouth Parkway. They base everything they do from the back. They know teams will attack, and they basically outnumber the opposition in those areas. They work hard and out think attacking players, by doubling up and acting like a wall. Plymouth aren't an attacking side, despite their success, but their approach forces sides to leave gaps after losing possession. They then move the ball quickly and exploit space. They literally defend for 70% of the game. Only way to beat them is to make them play out from the back, because you can't break down a side prefers to play 90 mins in their own half. It's bad for the spectators, but I think parking the bus phrase was once used by Mourinho
