Bhai ye tape water resistant hota hai kya mtlb agar mene ye mere tennis cricket bat pe lagaya aur agr gile ball se khelunga to ye bat ko protect karega kya me subaha me practice krta hu to vos ke karan ball gili hoti hai

Bhai bat ko taping se pehala clean karne ki koi jarurat nahi hoti. Bat ki wood hee kharab hoti hai balki so agar aapka bat proper oil ho gaya hai then left for 2 to 3 days ho gaya hai then 1 week tak hammering karo old leather ball se then thoda sa knowking karo after that directly taping hoti hai maine apne sunny tonny xtreme. Bat mai coach se puch ke aisa hee kiya hai

Sir can you tell me that is my way correct to prepare my new bat : First oiling cricket bat After the oil is dried knocking it for a week or so And apply scuff sheet At last using a toe guard . Have a doubt sir , Can I use plain scuff sheet and fiber glass tapes above the scuff sheet on edges ? Also which gum u used for toe guard sir ? Hoping for your reply soon sir 😊

Yes. You can follow what you are doing. Oil the bat. Use raw linseed oil for that. Or you can get SS bat oil from any sports shop. Then hammer the bat. Then play with old ball in a sock. then hit some catches. For toe guard i used fevibond. You can apply any scuff sheet as long as it is not thin and does not get torned easily.

You cannot compare those two. BAS suits some and SG suite some. Each has different characteristics.

Irrespective of grains, you can apply the tape on the bat to keep it safe.

Not suggested. Petrol has natural grease in it and it can damage the wood.

Agar properly kiyajaye tho 4 hours mei bat ready hosakti hai. Lekin risky hai. Hanging ball se bat pe utna pressure nahi aata. Agar apne friends ke saath Old.ball se catching practice karo. Shots thoda hard hit karo. Maine knocking ki ek video banayi hai. Wo wala video dekhlo. Usme maine bataya ki kaise check karni bat knocking hui ya nahi

Oiling personal choice hai. Mandatory nahi hai. Taping bat ke protection ke liye important hai.

Never apply thinner on a english willow, please use wood wax before scuff tape or just apply scuff sheet. And for toe guard we can use our old bat grips too

I have been using paint thinner for the past 18 years or so. Never faced any problem with that. You are the first one to say not to apply thinner on bat!

Use hair dryer, blow it on the stickers, with the heat you acn peel of the sheet without damaging the willow.

Hi. I have made a video on knocking and you can find that in my channel videos. Oiling depends on your preference. Not mandatory. It only helps while knocking. If you have time to knock your bat, then oiling is not required.
