The game's had a few graphical upgrades since the start, similar looks but the latest graphics cards can now cope with the build.

You can turn the shadows on in the graphics menu. Video looks strange without shadows enabled lol.

30C is 86F (ran a conversion). Where I'm from, 86 is still nice, but might be warm in the sun. But we typically hit 100F+ (that's ~40C), and last year we hit 130F heat index (54C). PSA to not leave pets and kids in cars especially during these hot months. In the above example of 130F degrees outside. In 30 minutes, that becomes 164F or 73C. Stay cool, and stay hydrated!

Are you having fun playing on Origins? I made a mystic and a fury. I've played a mystic for YEARS but it's really different at this much slower paced game play. And since I don't have many friends I haven't had the chance to group up and level much.

I'm loving Origins, I agree it is a different way of playing. Reminds me of the first few years of release where you did need others to complete some quests.

It's the red hair option with the white highlights. The look will vary from pink through to red depending on the amount of light sources around the character.

Not quite sure what you mean by this comment. This is the base game and the Desert of Flames expansion release will be in around 7 months.

@@thecounsellingdm I only played for a month or two at launch. So have no idea on expansions and lvls. I mean, if I lvl slowly and play 5 hours a week will I ever hit lvl cap or will expansions keep increasing lvls

Far too many to list in a reply. It's slower going in terms of gaining experience and the mobs are tougher. Grouping is needed.

There's a broker in every tradeskill instance, the cellar looking door in every suburb. Or, if you're in any of the city zones, click on a guard to pop up the "search for an NPC" box, ask them for Broker. A glowing trail and flashing X on your map will appear.

My very first d&d character was an elf who wielded a mercurial greats word and rode a heavy war horse. Until I had a friend make me a full scale greatsword out of oak. The thing is taller than my irl self. A rapier is my sword of choice (I did fencing intramural sports at my uni) and I worked at a ranch with Belgian draft horses. Sweet horses, but their hooves where the size of large dinner plates. I typically go for a much more modest plain riding horse in games now.
