Not sure a one ski quiver during beginning and end of the season when the rocks and roots come out to grab your bases. Nor deep pow. You feel ok smashing into hard bumps with them or carving around steep tight trees? They are so premium, it's like the feeling you d get seeing a scratch on your new car

Maybe the 180 is better for you?

Ive been daily skiing some Yewps 118 on hard pack and powder, (bought them this fall from Glacier Ski Shop) the magna traction work but definitely requires a more advance skier. I got 12 years of ice coast racing under me and some wicked edge control and I personally love the wavy edges, but you have to understand how to drive with your outside ski, and steer with with your inside knee. Kinda like a tele carve where you're inside pinky toe is the actual pilot. Also being light on youre feet in transitions and being powerful on you're toes while initiating your turn always helps. Hope this helps but I'll keep defend lib tech and their funky skies as they are made fore funky skiers as they make the best skies I have ever tried.

I've been on this ski all year. I came from a Blizzard Brahma and the Unleashed is so much easier to ski and I think I push skis pretty hard. You make a great point about the stiffness being just right. And, dad, I conquer, the weak point of these is when the snow gets refrozen they don't like that. I think that's the twin tip not holding a great tail edge in icy conditions. Otherwise I love this ski. Great vid. Thanks!
