nothing was wrong, just a demonstrative video with idle. Well, the hose was like that because in the past my car had some problems with air bubbles and the mecanic put it like that. That is, if I remember well, the return line, and with that sistem it goes back to the filter.

La mine a fost mufa 1j0973702 care intra în senzorul de temperatura a antigelului ce iese din motor din partea dreaptă nu cel de la termostat.Pinii din mufă nu mai făceau contact cum trebuie cu senzorul de temperatura si de aceea îmi oscila.Bătaie de cap 5 ani pentru un lucru mărunt.Niciun mecanic nu a descoperit problema după 3 termostate schimbate și 2 senzori

How can blocked EGR cause engine shaking and ticking like it's misfiring? Many people block them off on purpose.

Salutari,aceiasi problema am avut si eu. Schimba termostatele (al doilea termostat de la DSG)si o sa fie ok. Eu am pus de la marka Mahle, funtioneaza perfect.

If the gauge falls below 90C then the actual temperature is under 75C. Gauge shows 90C from 75C to 105C actual temp. You need to replace the really hard to replace main thermostat!

I have this engine in a A3. I recently changed the thermostat - it was definitively faulty (the engine would not reach 90°C even in the summer). However in the winter with the heating on (I like it warm) the car still has problems reaching 90°C. I don't think this is due to a fault - it is just caused by the diesel engine being so efficient. I simply doesn't produce enough heat.

Yes that's correct,but there are 3 electric heating elements in cooling/heating circuit to deal with the lack of heat in winter time. All the best👍

@@user-yx9kg3ch2y The A3 has no electric heating element for the coolant. It only has a electric heater for the air which is only turned on when the coolant is very cold. Does the Passat have an electric heater for the coolant? If so I would check if it is working.

If it's DSG then it's the DSG thermostat.

if u want to have good heating in the winter just block half of radiator 😂, it will be like sauna without overheating or go under 90 , of course thermostat must work

Its becoise that passat has 2 termostats, main one and smaller one for cabine, change both and its all ok.

Not sold in the US market. It's a 70 degree V8 with a balance shaft. The 72 degree V6 was sold but heavily detuned. The E320 CDI/E350 Bluetec in the states made roughly 190ish HP. Edit: Diesels in the states had more stringent NOX emission requirements after 2007 than their European counterparts. 0.07 grams of NOX per mile versus 0.25 grams per *KM* for Euro 4 which was in effect till 2011.

E400 and E420 CDI,both NFL, are aprox the same,just the E400 has 260 hp and E420 has 314,both single turbo, but the FL one , E400 has the same engine with 260 hp single turbo,but the E420 is biturbo with the same amount of HP, 314

Salut ,am un mercedes e class s211 combi si are perine doar pe spate ...am vazut ca uni fac coversie cu chit pe arcuri ,mentionez ca eu stau in austria o sa am probleme la verificare sau este legal,chitul contine doar arcuri cu ceva suporti si se monteaza in loc la perine ...ce mai putea indruma sa fac ?

Mi s-au ars 4 compresoare, iar mecanicul a spus sa e din cauza acelor compresoare că sunt second hand, dar problema este că ele nu mai decuplează și baga aer într-una până sare siguranță aia de 40 Ah

On the passat b6, after 5 years of low temperature and 4 thermostats changed, today I found the problem. It was the plug that entered the engine temperature sensor on the right side, not on the left side of the thermostat. It decreased in acceleration and when I turned on the AC times heat at maximum. How I found the problem. I ran a simple Torque Pro diagnosis and started walking to the plugs from the temperature sensors. That's how I saw that in the application, the temperature dropped by 10 degrees or rose to normal when I touched the plug I took it out, put WD-40 on the plug contact and the temperature stays at 90 no matter what I do and the DPF filter also starts. Before it showed me a maximum of 80 degrees and fell to 70 in the application, now 90-95 and on board does not move from 90. Good luck!

Hello. For me, it was the pins in connector 1j0973702 that go into the temperature sensor from the antifreeze at the exit from the engine. The pins in the plug no longer made contact with the temperature sensor in the engine. On the Passat B6. I struggled for 5 years. I changed 3 thermostats and 2 sensors and in vain. In the tester I saw that the antifreeze temperature fluctuated in the same way.
