It is not just as efficient

Problems EVs need lithium which the mining of it is VERY bad for the environment. The quietness is a bad because people can't hear it if they cross the street and can cause crashes If a crisis happens charging will be near impossible If everyone went electric the power grid would not be able to produce the necessary electricity (example is California) If a crash happened there is a very high chance a lithium fire happens, which is almost impossible to snuff out.
