It's always good to see a British surf film, I haven't seen it all,but I'd hope it doesn't use that effect all the way through, most UK videos are pretty original, this seems to be just a rip off of 'litmus '

Here's a piece of trivia: Denny Aaberg, writer and consultant on this movie, lived in the Palisades in SoCal on Amalfi Drive - - same street as Robbie Krieger of the Doors. Went to school with Krieger, surfed with his brother Ronnie and bought my first surfboard in 1964 from Dennis, a Hansen. (He was repping for Hansen.) I had to drive all the way to Cardiff to pick it up - and that was in the days before the 405/5 wss completed. Those were the times; hanging out at State Street, surfing Malibu, Sunset, Latigo, Secos, and Rincon...and County Line. (Never could get into Trancas.} Dennis drew a lot of characters from the State Street and SoCal surfing scene in those days.

This a good movie that did not recieve the airplay (both theatres and TV) it deserved. The fight scene, the scene where Jan Michael Vincent is running down the street and also the scenes where they parked their car under the bridge in Tijuana MX were actually filmed on the southside of El Paso TX.
