I started doing this job thanks to friends who were already in the business, but I had already many years of experience as a musician on the road and knowledge about guitars (I’m mainly a guitar tech). I guess it must be difficult to start from zero without knowing people doing it already. I wish you all the best and I hope you’re gonna make it!

The crowd is terrible.....dead as fuck.....thats why bands get crazy when they play in Greece....this crowd is an insult to these great bands...
@MatteoBassoli7 ай бұрын
What you see is the beginning of the show, then they warmed up and were stage diving all the time and went insane. But it's true that crowds are different, not only from country to country but even from city to city!
@dimitrisjimmygtheodorou84787 ай бұрын
@@MatteoBassoli I think phones are a big factor...everyone trying to record videos and shit.....its a symptom of our time i guess....i see big metal shows and the crowd just sits there or maybe its the old guy in me that speaks cause im 42 and come from a different era of metal and metal shows....its all about that first song when the band hits the stage...you dont warm up during the show you go to the show warm and ready....much love bro stay heavy...nice vid btw i love watching backstage shit....

They use tracks for the second guitar.
@MatteoBassoli7 ай бұрын
The 2nd guitar is a live re-amp on stage instead of having backtracks. There are two cabs and two amps, one stack is played live by Vogg while the other one gets the signal from a pre-recorded guitar (by Vogg) and it's also fully microphoned. The result is like having two guitar players playing on stage! Much better than using backtracks from the PA.

15:27 funny BUT if you do this by accident (the door shuts down on you because of wind or you just bumped into it, etc) on your own (no one is outside to open the door for you), you can get stuck inside... Happened to me at 1 AM on a empty parking lot after a show and was stuck inside for like 10 minutes... Hopefully there was a slidable side door that i could access by moving some stuff inside the trunk and i managed to open it and set me free. My phone was still in the driver's cabin so i had no way to call anyone for help... NB : if the trunk had been full (so no way to move shit around to access the side door) and/or if i had no side door i would have been stuck inside until someone heard me scream late in the morning ... Huge mistake and i don't wish it to anyone...

Only OG left is Vogg. 1 died and 1 got seriously messed up in the accident, and it seems the original bass player (Martin ?) is doing fine and being a metal bass player in the USA.

Inferi is a band that is super complex and capable. Easily up there with the top tier tech-death bands. Yet.... here they are playing the same size venue as a battle of the bands.
@jaakkorahkola24307 ай бұрын
I mean they are technically proficient but that doesnt really translate to bigger venues or fusion jazz guys would be playing stadiums.
@CountryMouseCityCrimes7 ай бұрын
@@jaakkorahkola2430Yes. But their compositional ability is also stellar. The songs are memorable and catchy. There is more to the music than just tech or brutality. There are plenty of things more every day listeners can latch onto.
