I have just recently found Michael and I have to say he is a breath of fresh air. I love his humility and honesty. And the shyness he has going on is pretty attractive. I am in awe with the connection he has with his pups and he inspires me to develop a better connection with my 11mth old golden/lab mix. Goldens are pretty mellow but labs are so wound up it's crazy and she is all lab in that aspect.

My dog is easily distracted but I unfortunately does not have the time to wait for her to be ready, do you have any tips for that?

I've enjoyed this video so much and I realize it was made 4 years ago. I have an Akita/ shepherd all black female who is nine. She eats pretty much everything I do healthy wise. She loves fresh vegetables including her favorite which is broccoli and peas and she loves fresh fish. She also has her dry food and her supplements.But she is an extremely good health. She? Used to love fruits but now she's a little bit more picky.

We had a black and white mixed pupper. My husband trained him to sit, lie, shake, roll over, please, and thank you. He would go thru all of his commands without being told so he could get his cookie. We had to retrain him again.😂😂😂❤❤❤

I know someone who has two dogs that she has no control over. She will give them the same command 10 times before they even listen. One day when I was visiting and we were outside, her dogs kept heading towards the road. She must have tried 3 or 4 times to call them back and they wouldn't come. With authority, I called their same and said, ' get back here NOW'. Without any hesitation the dogs came running back to us. I've sent her several of his videos, she has spoken to me since. Lol

My mom and I recently adopted a Malinois, he's 2 months old and already shows signs of learning. He knows "sit" already, and this video is definitely a help on the leash training. He came from a K9 camp that did not want him, so there has been no training, so I will be doing it all myself. He will be trained as my mom's service dog (she's a senior) so this video, like I said, will be helpful! Should I start the leash training in the house or outside because our baby doesn't like being outside (not even to pee) yet so...what would you recommend there? Ryka is beautiful, by the way!

The issue with whistle is anyone can whistle the same tone. You want the dog to respond to YOUR voice and not someone else fooling the dog with copying a whistle. Just use a shorter command than a 3 syllable name.
