How can you not help but to love dogs! Your pups obviously really love you! You seem to really like these tarps. I don’t know why you would buy a tarp were the tie out breaks? I have many brands of tarps and I enjoy the flexibility they provide for camping. I have never heard of this brand in the States. Thanks for sharing!😊

Hello yes check out mountain laurel designs they a small cottage industry. Excellent kit. The failures are from 12 years old first generation DCF that lasted long time but DCF doesn't last like nylon poly etc. So I just used duct tape as the tarps do old. Yeah gotta love dogs. Many thanks for great comment

Tony, sorry to hear this. My dog had TPLO surgery about 16 months ago and made a full recovery. In February this year we stayed at an AirBnb which had a super high bed which she jumped on. The next day she was limping and this persisted to the point her leg was clicking as she walked. The vet prescribed a weeks cage rest but she was still limping particularly as she got up after a rest. I did a bit of reading as I'm very big on anti inflamatory diets as it's helped me massively. To cut a long story short I added a joint care tablet (powdered) and ginger and turmeric powder to her food. Within a week or do she was back to full fitness and loving life. Happy to speak in more detail as to what I did if you think it may help. We were initially VERY concerned.

Thanks Andy She's been taking glucosamine for couple years at least plus I got this ridiculously expensive powder to add to meal and saw zero changes over the time on it so just use the glucosamine but if you have info worth looking if nothing else. I think it's general wear and tear and age time etc. Around house and to car she's OK just slow. Steps bit awkward. I probably let her jump out of car too much but given its back and front ie even wear all round probably not that so much and it was only couple times a day so not exactly in out regularly but still probably something to watch with future dogs....

Top comparing !. I got the standard Soul Bivy , size large . I used it first time this year after owning it for about 4 yrs 😅and i really liked it. Its definitely not waterproof though , and ive always wondered if the Event version is proper waterproof and could be used without a tarp , or maybe mini tarp for small showers or drizzle ? I did find on ebay an older ME goretex bivy that came with a plastic window which i couldnt resist 😅, hopefully for autumn winter use which ive yet to try , but akways been tempted by the mld event bivy . Cheers

Which do you have? The MLD Soul eVent bivy is definitely waterproof. Check my several videos where it gets soaked and I'm dry inside? Yes definitely OK without cover. Do you have the SUL bivy by MLD with splash proof cover they excellent but definitely need cover they have mesh windows by head. Thanks for watching
